15 miles of beginner / intermediate singletrack trail network in Lake James State Park, NC. These trails were specifically built for biking, and feature great flow. Theres not much in the way of technical challenges here, but the flow is excellent, and theres more than enough variation to get your heart pumping as your cruise through the woods.<br />

There are two beginner loops totaling about 4 miles. A great place to introduce the beginner to the fun of mtn biking.<br />
Two slightly more difficult intermediate loops offer 11 more miles of rolling forest singletrack.
Traveling east on I-40: From I-40, take the Nebo/Lake James exit (exit 90) and head north. After a half mile, turn right onto Harmony Grove Road, and follow it for 2 miles to a stoplight. Proceed straight across the intersection and past Nebo Elementary School to a stop sign. Turn right onto NC 126, and follow the signs to the park entrance 4.8 miles on the right.
